Where do the earnings numbers come from?
Published program- and occupation-level data: primarily the U.S. Census Bureau's Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes and the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, for your state and target fields. Every figure in your report carries its source, and forecasts are shown as ranges — anyone who quotes you one exact future salary is guessing.
Is this career coaching?
No. Coaching helps you figure out what you want; this report prices the options once you have them. It tells you what each pathway pays, costs, and when it breaks even — the decision itself stays yours.
Why hand-built? Why only ten?
Carevo is testing whether this report is genuinely useful before building software around it. Ten hand-built reports teach us more than a thousand survey clicks — and early buyers get analyst-level work at a founding price.
What if there's no good data for my field?
Then we tell you before charging anything, explain what data does exist, and you choose whether a partial picture is still worth it. If we can't build a report we'd stand behind, there's no charge.
Can a report guarantee I'll earn the forecast?
No — and be suspicious of anyone who promises that. The forecast shows what people with your target credential in your state actually earn across the distribution, so you can weigh the likely case, the downside, and the upside with open eyes.
Who's behind Carevo?
Carevo is a Minnesota company founded in 2025. Its founder spent two decades in workforce and transportation systems — and has personally been on the receiving end of a layoff and the “what now?” spreadsheet that follows. The Switch Report is the tool he wished existed that month.
